Comparison of the Exam Scores Obtained in Face-to-Face Education and Online Education by the Students of the Faculty of Dentistry

Purpose:The Covid-19 pandemic has affected our daily lives by affecting the whole world and caused habits to change.One ofthe effects of epidemic been on education.With spread epidemic, online education become only way maintain normal teaching order.In this case, it directly affects quality received.The aim study is examine whether there a difference between exam scores made face online. Methods:Students who were 3rd grade in 2018-2019 4th 2019-2020 academic year included study.Thescores that these students got Pedodontics Theoretical Exam within two years evaluated. according time analyzed with Friedman Test Wilcoxon Test. Results:In year, median values obtained from exams took first examface-to-face second third varied (p<0.001).The exams(median 90 95, respectively) (the mean are 89.6±8.7, 93.8±9, respectively), theoretical (median 70, 67.2±18.1) was higher.On other hand ,it observed significant increase same held face-to-face previous year(median 74, 74.1±7.1) they next 89, mean87.7±9.1)(p<0.001). Conclusion:The results system higher than performed face.Thismay be due insufficient control mechanisms system.For reason, security measuresshould increased.
